AMBULANCE 6-94


1995 Ford Life Line Ambulance Body

6-94 (AMBULANCE) is a new service that we are going to be providing to the residents of Cornplanter Township.With this in place, we hope to provide faster patient transport to a care facility. The increasing of our call volume will aid in the very competitive grant writing process for the Fire Department.

 
 
Brush 6-92


1990 Chevy Pick-up

This unit is one of the two brush/woods units we have. The other (6-93) is being built from a retired army pick-up truck. This truck has a 250 gallon skid unit, 250 gpm pump, and a pre-piped 5 gallon foam cell purchased through P&G Fire Equipment. This unit also has numerous indian tanks and hand tools.

 
 
Engine 6-95


1995 International

6-95 is first out on all mutial aid calls as well as fires in our area without hydrants. Unlike all the other pieces of apparatus we operate (mutli- purpose vehicles) it serves only one purpose, the rapid response and extinguishment of fires. It is very heavily equipped with all the necessary tools to do the job and do the job right. Specs are as follows.

1500 gpm Darley top mount pump
1250 gallon poly tank

 
 
Rescue 6-91


1998 Ford F350 Medium Rescue

Whether it is a medical call, car accident, water rescue or other type of rescue call, 6-91 is our first out responding rescue. Classified as a medium rescue, it carries all the required medical equipment for a QRS including 1 of the departments 2 AED's. Rescue 91 has a full compliment of Heavy rescue tools for vehicle rescue including a Holmatro Cutter and Spreader set and a Holmatro Ram. Also included is a compliment of water and rope rescue equipment as well as hazardous materials equipment. Rescue 91 is a 1998 Ford F350 4x4 and is capable of carrying 5 personell. Rescue 91 also responds to any structure fire in the township.

 
 
Rescue/Engine 6-97


1997 Pemfab

6-97 is used as our multi purpose vehicle. 6-97 is fully equiped with all the necessary medical equipment A.E.D.,backboards,splints,ect. to handle any type medical emergecy as well as a Rescue Tech heavy rescue tool (cutter/spreader combo) and all cribbing needed for handling vehicle accidents.

Tanker 6-96


2008 HME/Ahrens Fox

6-96 is our newest piece of firefighting equipment. Purchased in 2008 to replace our aging 1985 tanker, this truck will not only improve the safety of our firefighters by enclosing the cab, but also improves the safety of the residents of Cornplanter Twp and our mutual aid communities.
